For more Boston covers, check out the playlist I made for them.    • BOSTON PLAY-ALONGS!   Just doing another Boston tune. I used Guitar Rig 5 (there's no Boston setting in there, I dial all these up from scratch myself) for the guitar amp simulation and effects and added some delay and eq outside that with stock Reaper effects. I did some automation on the delay settings and the pitch shifter to create that falling effect near the end. I also embellished the song a little with some extra ad lib solo stuff near the end. None of those were thought up in advance except the country sounding lick where I fingerpick it. I spent probably a few hrs learning the tune. It wasn't too difficult. I spent more time trying to dial up a decent tone than learning the tune.
