Wrapping a canvas with watercolor paper allows you to paint directly on the paper after wrapping it on the canvas rather than painting on the canvas without having prep the canvas with a watercolor ground. This way the paper will react just like it normally does when you paint on it. Once you have completed your painting on the wrapped canvas, you will want to apply wax to the paper to preserve permanently making your painting archival. My passion is all things watercolors, but I also use acrylic paints, and alcohol inks. I will be sharing special tips, techniques, and ideas, on the mediums I use. I will be happy to answer your questions and comments if you will leave them in the Comment section after the video. ********************************************************************* General Supplies Used for Watercolors: Daniel Smith Watercolors DaVinci Watercolors Winsor & Newton Watercolors Supplies for Waxing Watercolors: Dorland's Cold Wax Krylon Archival UV Satin and/or Gloss Spray Varnish Golden's Soft Gel Gloss or Liquitex Mat Medium Supplies Used for Masking Fluid Grumbacher Miskit Winsor & Newton Masking Fluid Arches 140# Cold Press Watercolor Paper Acrylic Paint Used: Liquitex Basics ********************************************************************* Social Media: Facebook / paintingsfromtheheartbylindalatimer Instagram / lindasmithlatimer Do you love Pinterest?
