We continue working on my friends broken s2000. We ordered all new timing components (chain, guides, sprockets, tensioner, etc) and decided to replace everything. While performing the timing chain replacement I saw some metal flakes and decided to dig deeper. We found a spun rod bearing and decided to start looking for a replacement engine. The s2000 engines are getting harder to find and are even a little expensive, so we may end up swapping something else.
