Herrenberg is located at the foot of the Schlossberg, on the edge of the Schönbuch forest, and centrally located in the heart of Baden-Württemberg in Germany, about 20 km west of Tübingen and about 30 km southwest of the state capital Stuttgart. With its unique half-timbered houses, which have been listed as a whole since 1983, the town of Herrenberg invites you to take an unforgettable tour of the town with its historically preserved buildings. The town's landmark is the Lutheran Collegiate Church, the first late Gothic hall church built in Württemberg, which was completed in two construction phases (1276-1293 and 1471-1493) and can be seen splendidly from afar on its hilltop at Schlossberghof.
