This is intersectionality at work - I personally smoke the dope on a fairly rare occasion (interpret how you will), but I appreciate there are people who have their final years in misery when weed is an effective ailment to their unfortunate deterioration of life - and are forced to become criminals to feel ok momentarily in times of unbearable pain, AND the fact a fucking feel-good WEED is ILLEGAL when slaughtering animals and destroying the OCEANS is legal - blatantly insane - made me sympathise with this campaign... (long sentence) But wait... ARE STONERS BECOMING ACTIVISTS? Come on Vegans - we should be more effective at peaceful protest organisation than stoners - we need to get our tactical shit together because the stoners are currently doing some smart shit and we should at least copy this approach and grow as big as this... AND For anyone who missed it. 420 is a code for smoking weed - it started with a group of kids and blew up online, becoming a hashtag for a time of day when people internationally get stoned together and post a selfie breaking the law with a spliff... and at 16:20 today - the SELFIE became the SALUTE... The internet is the ultimate addition to democracy where the tools are readily available to allow society to organise itself through what is wanted - not what is pre-scripted... which currently marijuana is not. (You get what I mean...) Anyways... I was wearing a tshirt saying "NOT YOUR MUM NOT YOUR MILK" and sports camera glasses (shout out to pivothead) and a purple balaclava - do let me know if I pop up on any other social media...
