Once you've learnt to cream the butter and sugar just add the flour, cocoa powder & oats to help make a soft dough. Chill for some time and then just roll it out. Its that simple. Learn how to use a teddy cookie cutter to cut out cookies. Now the tricky part, lift little teddy's arms one by one and wrap it around an almond , gem or a red heart. Even if the arm comes off it's so easy to just squeeze it back on so no worries. After baking the cookies it's optional if you want to make chocolate eyes on the teddies . I also just brushed them with cocoa powder so they look velvety brown and so realistic. Serve them to your kids with a glass of cold milk. Lovely for birthday parties , wrap them in pouches or put them in tins as gifts.
