Flying Back to England from Chiang Mai!" Wow what a long few days I left my accommodation Just Chill Inn at 10am on 5th September2023 and got a grab to Chiang Mai airport. It’s only a really small airport so I ended up being really early for my flight to Bangkok. The flight was really quick, I paid a little extra to make sure my bag was one of the first 25 bags off the plane. I jumped in a taxi to my airport hotel for the night. The next morning I ordered an early morning call at 4.45am. The minibus collected me at 5.30am. I arrived in in plenty of time for my first flight of the day. 8.45am Bangkok to Doha I then had a 3.5 hour layover before my second and final flight. 3.10pm Doha to London Heathrow. It was a very long day with the time differences. I landed in Heathrow Airport at 8.20pm then collected my bag jumped on a bus to the carpark where my Son Michael was waiting for me. It should have then taken 2hrs 30mins to drive to Michael’s but unfortunately the motorway we went on got closed for 30 minutes so it took a bit longer. Was really wonderful to see my Son.
