Scrap Metal Violin

This is the first musical instrument sculpture I've made. There's a couple parts of it that I wish I shaped better, but I think it turned out alright :) Website https://www.bruisedreedstudio.com/ Instagram   / bruised_reed_studio   Facebook   / bruisedreedstudio   For this art project I used old bike chain/gears, old drill bits, stainless steel ware, buttons, left over bits of perforated metal, square tubing cutoffs, pipe cutoffs, plasma drops, old saw blades, and other left over scrap metal. I used a tig machine to weld everything together. I used an oxy acetylene torch to shape a few parts, and used muriatic acid to give it the flash rust color.
