What's The Best PC Fan Setup? What's up builders! Today I'm breaking down the PERFECT fan setup for every PC case configuration! First, the golden rule: cool air IN, hot air OUT. Most builds should create positive pressure with slightly more intake than exhaust. Front fans? These should ALWAYS be intake, pulling cool air into your case. Rear fan? This should ALWAYS be exhaust. No exceptions - it's positioned perfectly to remove hot air. Bottom fans? INTAKE! Heat rises, so pull cool air up from below. Top fans? EXHAUST! Use these to let hot air escape naturally upward. The most common setup: front intake, top and rear exhaust. This creates a smooth front-to-back, bottom-to-top airflow path. Adding bottom fans? Go bottom and front as intake, top and rear as exhaust. Side panel fan next to GPU? Make it INTAKE to directly cool your graphics card. With a vertical GPU mount, side intake becomes even more important! For liquid cooling, mount radiators on exhaust positions like top or rear for best CPU temps. Remember: Always put dust filters on INTAKE fans only, and clean them regularly! The perfect setup depends on YOUR case, but these principles work for every build. Drop a comment with your specific case model if you need help!
