#Kalenberg #Weerribben-Wieden #nederland #bootvaren I visited Giethoorn a long time ago before Giethoorn wellknown was. It was quiet and we were the only visitors. We hired a boat and sailed arround the village. Our second visit was about 5 years ago before the covid pandemic. Giethoorn was changed: very touristic and there were a lot of tourists. The canals was full of the boats and we could not enjoy our visit. Because of the crowd in Giethoorn, this summer we searched another alternative. Kalenberg is not so far from Giethoorn. This village is also beautiful and we can hire a boat and sail along the canals and arround the village.
