WHY ARE SO MANY OF THE BIG INFLUENCERS GIFTED LUXURY HANDBAGS? Now there’s a question!! With the Louis Vuitton Pont 9 recently launched on Instagram, the Dior Bobby Bag not far behind, I thought I’d reach out to you all and get your thoughts on this topic! I love how in-depth you’ve all been and I have answers falling into the YES (it’s ok) category, NO (it’s not) and NEAUTRAL (It is what it is)! So let’s talk – I’m calling this ‘Marketeer Reacts’, because after editing it I realized it was leaning that way a bit with my explanations! My thoughts? I don’t mind, I actually love to see how the bag is styled differently by different influencers. I also realise this is their job and (if you’re someone that’s annoyed by it) – be annoyed at the brand as they’re driving it! HOWEVER, I detest the badly run campaigns where everyone uploads their picture at the same time on the same day. Imho, this practice creates a fake hype that can be off-putting as a customer. Honestly/disclosure is also important to me, but otherwise I’m totally cool with it. What do you think?
