Washington’s elected officials raised questions on Friday about whether the President’s Executive Order on Homelessness has any sort of practical plan for implementation. On Thursday, President Trump issued the EO called “Ending Crime and Disorder on America’s Streets,” which calls for the reversal of federal or state judicial precedents on involuntary commitment of individuals with mental illness and suggests the Federal government would pull grants to any entity that doesn’t comply with the order.
