Eager riders were let down after they had to be evacuated off of the oldest rollercoaster at Hersheypark due to an “off-ride guest issue” that made the cars stop in its tracks. The Comet, a 75-year-old wooden coaster, came to a halt around 5 p.m. on Sunday after an unspecified issue forced a shutdown in the middle of the thrill ride.
