Ambition of the Illuminus also continues the single-player storyline from Phantasy Star Universe. This time, the player's personal avatar is the central character, investigating and working to restore peace after a terrorist group known as the Illuminus, brought chaos to the Gurhal System. Through a series of single-player missions, meeting familiar characters like Ethan Waber from Episode 1, along with new ones, including a GUARDIAN instructor, Laia Martinez. First thing they fixed is that the story involves a created character. Doing this makes the story feel more intimate than the original. But a problem with this is that characters don't react to you based on your race or sex. The story also gets far more complicated than the original. I also like how they finally realized that some people would want to replay story missions at different difficult levels. The only they that prevents me from recommending this game is that it has a cliffhanger ending that is impossible to get the continuation of the story as Episode 3 could only be played online in the network mode. The servers are shut down and Sega was not smart enough to make the DLC playable offline. So this is where the story ends. #GameZard #PSU #NoCommentary
