Our adventures begin in Catalina State Park that is a must see in Catalina, Arizona area! The Catalina Foothills are loaded with amazing hiking trails and we take you on a couple of amazing hikes. Then we go to Oracle for an amazing dining experience at the Peppersauce Kitchen where you cook your own steak. We take on a RV project and do a renovation on RV Blinds to give our RV a brighter and lighter look and feel. Say “Catalina Foothills” to any local Tucsonan and watch their eyes light up. They appreciate how the rolling foothills create a transition zone between city life on the valley floor and mountain adventures in the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains. On the north side of the mountain, visitors get an up-close view of the dramatic rock faces at Catalina State Park. Visitors can make the park their crash pad at any of the 120 campsites with paved parking slips for RV and tent camping. Visitors who spend the night in Catalina State Park are all but guaranteed to see coyotes, javelinas and jackrabbits, among other prolific desert critters. The Sutherland Wash Petroglyphs hike mixes history of days past with present-day natural appeal in Tucson’s popular Catalina State Park. This trail begins just outside of the park and wanders through and then back out of the northeastern corner to a petroglyph site. This trail can get a bit overgrown after heavy monsoon seasons, so if you’re here after a lot of rain, long pants and even a machete may be helpful. Having a downloaded route is helpful to locate the petroglyphs at the end of the trail. Seven Falls is one of the most popular hikes in Tucson. And it’s easy to see why. Besides being the #1 rated trail in Tucson by All Trails, it boasts seven waterfalls, incredible views, and a moderately easy hike. You can find the trail to Seven Falls (Bear Canyon Trail) in Sabino Canyon Recreation Center. Sabino Canyon is one of my absolute favorite places to hike in Tucson. There are so many different trails to travel and all offer incredible and versatile experiences. This amazing Arizona hike is in Sabino Canyon in the Catalina Mountains. Just outside of Tucson Seven Falls Hike takes you through several river crossings as it winds to the falls. At the falls don't pass up on an opportunity to take the plunge in the ice-cold waters it is truly refreshing and will keep you cool on your hike back to the visitor center. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/coron..."Sabino Canyon, one of the premier natural areas in southern Arizona, is located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains at 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, AZ 85750. Come to Sabino to see water in the desert. Between steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation you will find riparian corridors. You may even get lucky and view a Gila Monster, Bobcat, or other animals that are adapt to our 100 + degree summers and mild winters. The Sonoran desert has two rainy seasons: gentle winter rains and a dramatic summer monsoon. Due to winter's snow melt and summer's electrifying lightning storms, Sabino Creek flows almost year around.
