Muztagh Ata is the 43rd tallest mountain in the world, standing 7,546 Meters above sea level. This is Part 2 of the 2 part series about Anny and I as we climb to the top. The story picks up as we start our second ascent up the mountain. These are more substantial climbs, and all geared towards setting us up for a successful summit. Climbing mountains is a lesson in hardship, gratification, and self reliance. It is also a life and death struggle, as we were witness to on a few occasions as we ventured ever upward to reach the Summit. But getting to the top is not the only thing that is dangerous, the decent is where a lot can go wrong as well. This video is less musical pizazz and flowing edits and more of a straight up travel video. I just wanted you to feel the way I did… and I figured laying it out somewhat raw was a good way to do it.
