Capt Hiram's Massive Florida Seafood Tower Challenge w/ Fish & Chips, Oysters, Tacos, and MORE!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus the massive "Captain's" Florida Seafood Tower Challenge w/ fish & chips, oysters, tacos, and more, from the menu of Blackfins Riverfront Grill, hosted by Capt Hiram's Resort in Sebastian, FL on the Treasure Coast of Florida!! ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I started a 2-month long tour that mainly featured food challenges around Scandinavia and Finland. Before flying to Europe, we traveled down to the Treasure Coast of Florida to each attempt four (4) delicious restaurant food challenges that were set up by our local friend Thomas Miller, aka The Treasure Coast Foodie. For competitive eating challenge #3 of four, we walked over to Blackfins Riverfront Grill on the grounds of Capt Hiram's Resort which is where Katina and I stayed while we were in the area. I attempted and helped kick off Blackfins' new and huge "Captain's" Florida Seafood Tower Challenge. A 3-tier serving platter was used to create this giant challenge that features many of of the delicious and popular menu items served at Blackfins. The top platter featured fish & chips, which included fried snapper, fried cod, 8oz of fries, and there was also coleslaw plus more. The second tier featured a mahi fish taco, a shrimp taco, loaded tuna wonton nachos, an order of fried conch fritters, fried calamari, and two crab cakes, with a few optional sauces. The bottom platter included some raw oysters, a few dirty oysters with sour cream, hot sauce, and caviar, and there was also fish dip served with tortilla chips. The bottom tier also featured peel & eat shrimp, plus three "Oyster Shooters" with vodka and tomato juice. I enjoyed an optional "Orange Crush" cocktail along the way, along with a local IPA beer. The challenge included a bowl of homemade clam chowder with oyster crackers, and for dessert, a slice of homemade key lime pie!! I was trying to become the first person to finish everything and win my entire seafood feast free, plus some sweet Capt Hiram's merch and a spot on Blackfins' Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Blackfins Riverfront Grill and Capt Hiram's Resort for the wonderful food, drinks, desserts, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Tuesday evening to watch and meet us!!
