Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the ISSE Classic Snow Socks on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. These are gonna be on tire size 235/60r18. Make sure you check the fit guide at etrailer.com to get the right sock in this case for your tire. Also, make sure you get them on both tires and on the front axle in this case as per the owner's manual, double check that just to be sure. But we'll take a look in this video about how these fit, how they work, why you might choose this over your regular snow tire chains. One of the primary reasons you might choose to use this over your typical snow tire chains will be it's a low profile design. So it does meet Department of Transportation requirements as far as a traction device goes for your tires. So if you live in an area that doesn't get a ton of ice and snow and you want something that's gonna be lightweight, easy to carry around and isn't going to interfere with any sort of suspension or struts here in your wheel well, this is gonna be a good option for you. But if you do live in an area where you get a lot of heavier ice and snow, you need a little bit more of a heavy duty, you know, chain or traction device, I would go with snow tire chains in that case. We can take a closer look at the material of the sock now. So this part is gonna be made of a polyolefin which is going to be durable but lightweight. And one of the next benefits of using a sock over chains is how it's not going to damage our tire. We don't have metal rubbing up against the rubber of our tires. This band is elastic. There's one on either side. You'll see a little bit closer about how that works in the install portion. But again, just the overall design is made so that you can, you're gonna create friction which is going to melt that layer of ice and it's gonna absorb enough and wick enough to the point where it's not getting that barrier or that lubrication that happens with typical tires on ice and snow, which is kind of how these socks work. One thing you might be worried about just because they are fabric, is the fact that they're gonna be able to pick up a lot of dirt really quickly and really easily, especially when you're driving in those conditions. But a nice benefit to these socks is the fact that they are machine washable. So all you need to do is remove them once you're done using them, throw them in the wash, get 'em out, put 'em back on. Good as new. You should limit your speed when you're using these to 25 miles per hour as per the owner's instructions. The socks do come two into a bag that's really lightweight. It's not the most durable thing in the world. Honestly, if I got these, they're super light and easy to fold up and keep somewhere else, I'd probably upgrade to something like at least a cloth bag or some kind of canvas bag. They're gonna be really easy to store under seats, in your glove box, maybe even in your trunk, wherever. They don't take up a ton of room and they're not metals so they're not gonna be scratching up against anything but they do come two to a set and this bag. As far as the install process goes, I would recommend trying to do both of them at the same time and we'll take a closer look at that in the installation video because you will have to roll your tire forward or backwards a few feet to complete that process. But overall, it is really straightforward. We still recommend you trying it out in your garage before you ended up stranded on the side of the road trying to figure it out. But we'll walk you through that process right now. To get this installed, there's not a lot to it. We just kind of wanna make sure that we have it facing the right direction. So on the inside you can see that we do still have this tag, if I can find where that is, right here. So we just wanna make sure that we have the right side facing out. Should also be able to tell by the stitching as long as you look close enough. But for now, all we need to do is get this elastic stretched out just a little bit and we'll go around the top and then work our way around the sides, trying to get as much of it around the back as we can. Just gonna be kind of a process, wiggling it down as you need to and adjusting where you can before we get to the point where we have it on everywhere we can get it on. And then we're going to have to rotate our
