Mortal Kombat X may be seeing fan-favorites Rain & Smoke making an MKX appearance in the future after a recent tweet from a NetherRealm Studios voice-actor suggests they may have something up their sleeves! Andrew Bowen, a voice-actor that voiced Johnny Cage, Rain, and Smoke in MKX, had a recent tweet that's grabbed some attention. When asked if he's currently working on a project for MKX at the moment, he said he had a non-disclosure agreement and couldn't say. However, the ending of this tweet was with a sly "winking face." Take this how you want, but in my personal opinion, I believe this was the only way he could hint that he had something going on. Not to mention, when asked about his experience voicing characters such as Rain, he usually has nothing but positive things to say, favoriting anything about Rain in the mix of things as well (which appears odd). We've seen Ed Boon tweet out in the past that a Story Pack DLC could possibly be in the works after a Kombat Pack DLC drops, so always keep that in mind. And even more importantly, a recent petition for Rain has picked up some backing behind it. We've seen the Tremor petition that got him inside of MKX as a DLC character.
