🔊 40Hz Sine Wave Audio Downloads: https://electriccanyon.com/product/pu... Here is a pure sine wave at a frequency of 40 Hz (cycles per second) deep bass note. Be careful, this can be hard on speakers or headphones if the volume is too loud. And it may not be audible at all on laptop, tablet or phone speakers. The Sine wave is the purest of all waves as it oscillates up and down (actually back and forth, or in and out regarding speakers in a longitudinal audio type wave) in a perfect curve. There are no edges to the wave as opposed to a saw-tooth, triangle, square wave and most sound-waves occurring in nature. Visualize a waveform and it is usually jagged looking instead of an endless curve. The non-perfect edges are overtones (aka. harmonics) and noise in a typical waveform whereas the sine wave has no overtones. That's what the term 'pure' refers to. I hope audio engineers and others may find this useful. While creating the audio, I noticed some bass response anomalies in my own video editing space. This deep bass tone can be useful for room tuning and also for checking subwoofers and speaker performance.
