Remove the battery pack by sliding the lock lever to unlock and lifting the battery away from the laptop. 2. Flip your laptop over to locate the hard disk drive compartment. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the HDD cover. 3. Lift the HDD cover carefully to reveal the hard disk drive underneath. 4. Gently pull the HDD tab to slide the drive out of its bay. Handle with care to avoid damage. 5.
