this is a quick non perfect video that at least shows you how to replace it and where it is and what it looks like. The video does not address fixing specific problems. It will take days or weeks to confirm if it totally fixed my issues. Sporadically racing idle etc. The replace is a wrecking yard item--do NOT buy a new one. Its only 4 screws and cutting then connecting the wires together--that's it. The idle air control valve has a lot of commands going to it. If your van still runs bad then it could be THE ELECTRONIC COMMANDS going to it. The valve is super important and a top suspect in all idle problems. It can also cause starting problems if its wide open and flooding air past the throttle. With fuel injection there is no true carburetor--the engine controls itself by adjusting flow to the injectors and air bypassing the throttle. If the valve is bad it can cause lots of issues. Feel free to comment or ask questions on other things--since ive done ALOT of fixes to this van the past years--including the distributor TWICE. I still have the common "knock sensor" error but all ive read is that it is not a runability issue--its also deep inside under the intake. Most people just splice in a new one and bypass it. keep this in mind as you research ITS NOT YOUR CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR--NOR THE KNOCK SENSOR. (replacing the distributor almost without exception will give results) additional note--YOUR PCV VALVE IS DONE BY FEEL--ITS BEHIND THE ENGINE ON TOP. DO A VIDEO--THEN DO IT BY FEEL
