Charles Gaines, the author of the books Stay Hungry and Pumping Iron, remembers his friend and partner George Butler who passed away on October 21, 2021. Charles and George collaborated on the book Pumping Iron and George went on to direct the film "Pumping Iron" (1977). In his interview with the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast, Charles talks about when he first met George on an assignment for Sports Illustrated and how they worked on the first book about bodybuilding for the general public and the challenges they faced in getting the book and the movie released.
