Recently this year, there were many outbreaks of the Chikungunya virus in Asia, Africa and Latin America, which made this virus a hot topic in the news. In this video, we will be bringing attention to this virus and providing awareness to the general public and those that are living in areas with chikungunya outbreaks. We will be focusing on the overview of the mechanisms of this viral infection, transmission, diagnosis, treatments and most importantly, how to prevent it!
