INSANE Doom Slaughter Has 200+ Cyberdemon Pyramid! Mortal Trap Blind Ultraviolence Stream Highlight

Links & Chapters below! This is a highlight from my Friday Variety stream from September 30 2022 seen here:    • DOOM N' FRIENDS Variety Stream! Perdition'...   . This is Map 18: Mortal Trap by Krull, in the Literalism CP, and boy is it a doozy (played in DSDA blind on UV pistol start). This map clocks in at over 3,000 monsters and right from the get go you are absolutely overwhelmed by massive hoards of demons. The intro area is crazy enough, crammed to the gills with an extra pop-up revenant hoard and door guarding Cyberdemons to boot. The next area has you fighting in a claustrophobic elevator, though the physics make for some fun rocket and BFG fighting. It's the next area that is the real star: a gigantic cavern with pillars and monsters from 3 directions: a huge flood of revenants, a monumental cloud of cacos and a gigantic pyramid with over 200 Cyberdemons! It's good I played in DSDA because this would absolutely fry some PCs in GZDoom! Even MORE come out of pillars, and unfortunately progress got so cryptic I had to skip and cheat to the exit, even with people trying to decode its secrets in the editor! While it's too bad I couldn't find the exit, and that it sort of messed with maps later in the CP, this was really fun to check out as an awe-inspiring set piece.
