Shortly after we picked up our new Montana High Country 385 BR I wondered why there wasn’t an electrical outlet on the lower half of the walls in the office. I really wanted to be able to plug in my guitar amp without wires and extension cords going up and over the desk. I have done electrical work on a number of projects in homes Dawn and I have lived in over our many years together and I have to admit i always get nervous cutting into a wall. Everything did work out right and now I can plug in without the unsightly extension cord mess. I purchased the RV outlet through Camping World and got the Romex through a friend who had a whole spool of it for a remodel he was doing on his home. The only other specialty tool I used was my trusty Harbor Freight Chicago oscillating power tool to cut into the wall. The one thing I can’t emphasize enough is to SHUT THE POWER OFF before you start to work on any electrical outlet. I hope you enjoy this part of our experience.. Safe Travels! Steve and Dawn
