Tons of evidence on the prevention and treatment of diseases have emerged, but certain evidence-based practices have yet to be implemented effectively - some may not be implemented at all. Drawing upon her Malaysian Implementation Science Training (MIST) experience with Yale University, Dr. Iqa Mohd Salleh will share the fundamentals of Implementation Science, particularly in reducing the know-do gap. In this talk, she will be describe examples of Implementation Science in the HIV response.
