Twitter: https://x.com/AlexMonahan100 Google Sheet with ChatGPT/Grok sports betting results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... In this sports betting tutorial, I go through the power of ChatGPT & Grok (artificial intelligence). Are they useful for helping us make money sports betting? My name is Alex Monahan if you're new to this YouTube channel. I graduated from Stanford University in Math & Computer Science and started my career as a quantitative trader. I worked at Morgan Stanley & Susquehanna International Group (SIG). I have a love for both gambling & technology. I started sports betting about 5 years ago with FanDuel, DraftKings & other online bookmakers. At this point, I've used over 50 sportsbooks. I started by going through sports betting tips & advice from ChatGPT & Grok. I see if artificial intelligence has advice on betting strategies that WORK and win long-term. Then, I get into specific bets & parlays from ChatGPT. Artificial intelligence was able to create parlays, PrizePicks slips & more. I had prop bets & mainlines (point spreads, totals, etc). Both Grok & ChatGPT recommend Positive EV betting (+EV or value betting) as a profitable strategy. This is the main sharp betting strategy that I use nowadays. I started out mainly using arbitrage betting, though. The OddsJam sports betting software has a tool for Positive EV bets here: https://oddsjam.com/betting-tools/pos.... Positive EV betting revolves around finding line discrepancies & inefficiencies in the market. You're essentially day trading the sportsbooks. ChatGPT and Grok also recommend line shopping and using multiple sportsbooks. This is also great advice. All online bookmakers set their own unique odds, so we never know where the value is going to be on a given day. OddsJam has real-time sports betting odds from 200+ sportsbooks, including FanDuel, DraftKings, PrizePicks & BetMGM. ChatGPT specifically mentions sports betting exchanges. Sign-up bonuses for both betting exchanges are below. NoVig & ProphetX are the two main sports betting exchanges in the U.S. ProphetX sign-up bonus (cash back up to $300 free): https://prophetx.onelink.me/E5Yi/ALEX NoVig Sign-Up bonus "Deposit $900, Get $100 Free" (my refer a friend code is "ALEX"): https://bit.ly/downloadnovigapp ChatGPT has some bad sports betting advice, too. For example, ChatGPT recommends looking at trends. This is bad sports betting advice since trends & historical data are already factored in the odds that sportsbooks are putting out. We go through a few examples on PrizePicks with NBA player props. A.I. also recommends focusing on specific sports. I don't recommend this. I show my bet tracker from Pikkit. I bet on EVERY sport. If there's value (e.g. an "edge"), then I'll play the bet. If there's good arbitrage bets on the WNBA, then I'll arbitrage bet the WNBA. We then get into specific bets & parlays recommended by Grok & ChatGPT. I ended up losing money with A.I., albeit I didn't have a massive sample size. I tracked 31 total bets using artificial intelligence. You would've lost about $520 with a $100 unit size. PrizePicks went 3/5 with artificial intelligence. AI definitely doesn't seem to have real-time sports betting odds. I gave some examples of errors. ChatGPT recommended an NHL player prop at +115 odds, but it was best offered on FanDuel at -120 odds. That's a massive difference. Placing prop bets at +115 vs -120 is basically a completely different wager. #sportsbetting #chatgpt #artificialintelligence
