Brecon Triathlon Bike Route

The route for the bike leg of the Brecon Sprint Triathlon (approx. 20km): 1. Turn left from the Leisure Centre and then right at the roundabout fork left down Slwch Lane to T junction Care - Narrow road and surface can be poor 2. At the T junction turn right 3. Go through Groesffordd and then left turn following yellow signs onto A40 heading east. Care – joining a dual carriageway 4. A short while after the end of the dual carriageway fork left at Llanhamlach towards Pennorth 5. Fast decent into Pennorth with a sharp left turn – SLOW DOWN!! 6. Go through Talyllyn village and turn left uphill 7. At the T junction turn left (west) on Llangorse Road 8. At the Groesfford T junction turn left. You will now be on the same road as you were at point 3 above 9. This time carry on under the A40 and then a right turn to rejoin the A40, this time heading west. Care - crossing traffic 10. At main roundabout take 3rd exit (DO NOT FOLLOW SIGNS FOR BRECON) up the A470 11. Left filter onto B4602 back towards Brecon 12. Turn Left into Cerrigcochion Road back to start point. Care – right turn back into transition area.
