Hold it at about 45 degrees and about 6 to 8 inches away from the substrate. This process is similar to spray painting. Make sure it's a well-ventilated area, or use a spray booth with an exhaust fan, especially if working on a large surface. No need to overspray. 0:23 3- Dry: Use a Heat Gun or a Hairdryer to dry it in seconds before placing the substrate in the laser machine. 0:31 4- Mark: Use a C02 or Fiber Laser to etch the desired mark. In the video, we used a Trotec Rayjet50 30W CO2 Laser at 20% Speed and 100% Power.
