The VIP RAF Voyager jokingly referred to as 'Boris Force One' but is actually known as Vespina, landing and taking off from RAF Brize Norton. Also featuring Prime Minister Boris Johnson's motorcade of Range Rovers and BMW X5s escorted by police. Vespina is a customised Airbus A330 Voyager KC3 with the registration ZZ336. It is used as a VIP transport plane for Government Ministers, the Royal Family and delegates on diplomatic missions around the world. This particular Voyager was part of a £900,000 refurbishment scheme that started in 2015 and included Boris Johnson's request in 2020 to have it painted in a British-themed red, white, and blue livery to represent a 'Global Britain'. Hence it earned the nickname 'Boris Force One' due to it's similarity in patriotism to US President's Air Force One. Despite it's use as the VIP RAF Voyager, it's most common function is in Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) to other military aircraft.
