Tour de France 2025 - Montmartre Finale from Rue Lepic

What an incredible day! We were positioned right outside the historic Moulin de la Galette on Rue Lepic for what was L’ Epic final stage of TdF25 where the Tour climbed Montmartre for the first time ever. This footage captures the whole experience (in a bit of a random sequecnce) - from the anticipation building in the hours before the riders arrived, to the explosive moment when Wout van Aert made his winning move on these very cobblestones, and the amazing scenes afterward as thousands of fans made their way down the Butte. Being there for those three climbs up Montmartre was something special. The last time I was in Paris fo the final stage was in 1987 for Stephen Roche shijing moment but this felt just as historic in it own way . The crowds were massive and the energy was off the charts - the French crowds were some craic- cant wait to do it all again soon It’s not every day you get to witness cycling history from this close, and I wanted to share what it was like to be part of this unforgettable finale.
