Dive into this glorious hour of analog experiments and excursions by Melbourne-based wire-plugger and button-pusher Andy Donnelly aka Kloke aka Colours of Infinity. The percussion is weighty and raw and I can imagine it sounding incredibly powerful on a system, but for my money the real gems of this album are the ambient soundscapes, particularly Liquid Metal, The Heliopause and Orange Sky, which swirl and swell and spiral to simultaneously fill the room with a colourful warmth and a creepy tension, that is such a delicate balance to achieve.
