Spring Tide: from the term 'spring forth' when the sun & moon are at opposite sides of the earth creating greater tidal movements. Today we had the lowest tide of the year at just 0.3m above chart datum (the lowest it should ever get (wihtout assistance from the wind)). I filmed and photographed the huge golden beaches revealed in all their glory at Sheringham & Cromer this afternoon at the low tide.
