Wile working on the violin scroll I have learned to make one side and then the other side, but I always found it difficult to get symmetry that way. To get symmetry this way the risk it that you work more and more and more and at the end the scroll gets tiny and small! I prefer to make both of the first round of the spiral, then both of the second round and so on. In this video I am showing live how do I draw, work and define the second round of the scroll spiral.
