Chicken Vegetables Soup Recipe: • EASY & HEALTHY Chicken Vegetables Soup Recipe Chicken Vegetables Soup Recipe: • Chicken meatballs | | Healthy & Easy recipe Turmeric chicken: • Turmeric chicken | | EASY and TASTY recipe FULL RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 5 chicken tights Marinade ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup 1 lemon, squeezed 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, shredded Ingredients for the stew: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 large or 2 small onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon salt Pinch of black pepper 2 cups spinach leaves, rinsed and sliced 1/3 bunch of parsley 1 cup basmati rice, washed and dried 2 cups hot water INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Add all of the marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix. 2. Place the chicken in a large bowl and pour the marinade over the chicken. Rub the marinade on both sides of the chicken tights. 3. Wrap the bowl in and refrigerate for an hour. (You can refrigerate for a few hours but not less). 4. Place 2 tablespoons of olive oil on a wide pot and once the oil is hot add the chicken with the skin side facing down. (Keep the marinade left on the side, we will use it later). 5. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes- 5 minutes without a lid and another 5 minutes with a lid. Turn to the other side and fry for another 10 minutes (as before). 6. Remove the chicken from the pot (carefully because the oil is hot) and set aside. Remove any browned bits. 7. Add the chopped onion to the pot and fry for 3 minutes over high heat. Stir occasionally. 8. Add to the pot chopped garlic cloves, chopped spinach, chopped parsley, thyme, oregano, salt, ground black pepper and the marinade left over from the preparation of the chicken. Stir for 2 minutes. 9. Add the rice to the pot and stir for another 2 minutes. 10. Add 2 cups of warm water and stir. Add over the chicken thighs we cooked earlier. Cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for 30 minutes. 11. Transfer to a medium heat and cook for another 15 minutes. 12. Turn off the heat and leave the pot closed for another 10 minutes. Enjoy :) COMMENTS/ UPGRADES: • You can place chicken stock in a stew instead of hot water. • Do not skip the step of soaking the chicken in the marinade for at least an hour.
