Learning 16mm film can feel like a lifetime away from working on cameras like the BMPCC, Sony A7S3/FX3, Lumix S5ii or even bigger cameras like an Arri mini, but it really shouldn't be. Loading film into cameras like the Bolex H16 and Arri SR3 is actually quite simple, and learning how to expose on these cameras properly is a valuable skill to understand lighting and cinematography better than you might currently.
