This is a composition of Muddusvami Dikshitar (1775-1835) in the raga Gamakakriya set to Adi Tala rendered by G Ravi Kiran, Rithvik Raja and Vignesh Ishvar. On Tula Krishna Caturdasi (Dipavali), It is believed that Dikshitar asked his disciples to render this Kriti and shed his mortal coils while they sang the lines ‘mIna lOcani pASa mOcani’. This is a rendition of this kriti as per the notation in the Sangita Sampradaya Pradarsini of Subbarama Dikshitar.
