Saali Naas Bor Ramdani & Abhinaya | Sattriya Dance | Perrine Legoullon

Bor Ramdani is a pure dance created by Mahapurush Madhavdev. It is followed by a sloka abhinaya from the Ankiya Bhaona Kaliya Daman, one of the plays written by Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev. The sloka goes : “We bow to that Krsna, in the guise of a cowherd boy who, in the clear (bright) moonlight in Vrndaavana, is playing (on) the flute with great pleasure, to mesmerise the beautiful women of Vraja.”. The composition concludes with an abhinaya on Borgeets composed by Mahapurush Madhadev. The abhinaya depicts how young Krishna has come out to play different games with his friends under the Kadamba tree, meanwhile the gopis are rejoicing at his sight and describing his beauty - his body dark like the clouds, his beautiful and bright face, and the garland of flowers complementing his yellow attire.
