Bicycling Wisconsin's Devils River State Trail (August 19, 2025)

After hosting family, our granddaughter, and celebrating our grandson's birthday, it was time to get back to bicycling. We decided to do four days of riding in eastern Wisconsin, with the plan (depending on the weather) of riding 4 different bicycle trails. Our third day of riding was on the Devils River State Trail in it's entirety (Denmark to Rockwood). The trail is a totally natural surface trail and most of it is packed gravel which tends to have more rolling resistance. This is a beautiful and secluded trail. The trail ending in Rockwood is due to there being active railroad tracks from there down to Manitowoc. Hopefully they can figure out a way to continue to the trail the remaining 5 miles to Manitowoc. Music Over by Terra Guitarra https://www.patchouli.net/albums/terr...
