Dresden I Transcription (1540s) by Pierre-Henry Bas Fencer: Fabian & Christian --- An arm break with a throw from the heels Item conduct yourself thus: with the onset when you come before the man stand with your right foot in front and stab him from above at his face or the breast [1]. If you stand then also thus against him with the same feet together [equally] so step with your right foot outwardly in front of his right and go against [towards] his thrust. Immediately stab him in his right side [2]. If he stabs you thus at your right, so attack from above his right arm with your dagger and press his arm under your right armpit. Immediately let your dagger fall and grab with your left hand on his right shoulder and with the right under his right elbow. Immediately strike him in the heels [haacken] on the right leg. So you can break his arm or throw him [3]. If you want to break that, so attack with your left hand his chin in front shove therewith strongly behind him so he must let you go or you throw him [4].
