Cherry Limb Wooden Baby Rattle Gift - Lathe Project................. DSNERV

Hey guys. So today I have just a little project for you all. Once again I have travelled to see some old friends of mine and wanted to make there son Alex a small gift. With my new lathe up and running I thought it was the perfect chance to try turning an old limb from a cherry tree I used to own into a gift baby rattle for him to play with. This is my first attempt at a lathe project and though I have played with the lathe in the past this was my first (and so far only) successful project to come from my new workshop toy. I feel like I need to apologise for the video quality in this one, my camera died half way through filming and my only option at the time was to use my phone to film the rest of the video hence the less than perfect quality.
