Day 2 of our ski touring week-end.After the deep powder day in Plans-sur-Bex, we moved to Nax, Valais — a hybrid resort/backcountry day where lifts and skinning opened the terrain. Run 1 started with a heavy whumpf at the top. Plans changed instantly. We avoided the steep face and dropped into the forest instead — tight trees, small pillows, hidden stumps and holes... Run 2 opened on mellow fields with clean powder turns before diving back into the woods for a bit. Run 3 similar to run2, but with a funny twist and a steeper section. Run 4 was the fastest one with a long powder section to end the day. What a day! Good snow, good terrain, good friends! Thanks to my buddies Jonas (guide), Loïc & Mathieu!
