Watch the whole course for free on YouTube: • Salesforce Reporting Crash Course You can interact with data from reports in the viewing mode, but the changes won't get saved - they only get saved if you make changes in edit mode and then click Save. You can toggle details on and off in the bottom left corner and you can click into the report chart to filter the rows you see. Click on the section again to unfitler. You can also change the chart by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner. Again, any changes that you make will not be saved. Linked filters are filters that follow reports from the dashboard - if you filtered your dashboard and then clicked the link to a report from a component, those dashboard filters follow you. If you use chart filters and then click to edit the report, those chart filters also follow you. So, be careful when you're exploring the data and going back and forth between view mode and edit mode. Subscribing to a report or dashboard will allow you to set a schedule for when you want that report or dashboard to be emailed to you and/or other users in your company. You can also set up conditions that can trigger when the report should be emailed out.
