http://www.longplays.org Played by: Ironclaw Ironclaw's YouTube channel: / ironclaw007 A very good port of PC-Engine's 'Bomberman'. I do prefer this Amiga version over the PC-Engine as the music is better. I read somewhere there was some licensing issues, which is why they named it Dyna Blaster in Europe At first I wanted to blow all the blocks up, never checked to see if I got score from them, or even more than one item per map (sub-level). I noticed later when I decided to pay attention that I don't get score from the blocks or more than 1 item per map, but felt I should continue to clear every map, just because I've done it so far :), but yeah, just draws the game out so decided to stop with that crap at Round 2-3. I think I forgot to pick up an item at 5-5. Doesn't matter anyway, unless it was a bomb, which it probably wasn't, never went back to look. You can collect 8 different items: Flame: makes explosions bigger. Bomb: an extra bomb to place. Roller Skates: the game speed is faster. Remote Control: (looks like a heart with a bomb in it) bombs only explode when pressing space. Painted Bomb: you can pass through bombs. Character: an extra life. Painted Wall: you can pass through walls. Jacket: bombs doesn't hurt you. 01:01:22 - The Jacket (bombs doesn't hurt me), I spam fire and space. Got the Jacket 2-3 times I think throughout the game. You can spawn enemies by blowing up the bonus items, or attacking the portal over and over again. I show the portal stuff more extensively on Round 7-6. Unlimited score farming if one wants. If you reach 9 lives and get one more, it will display "0", which is common in games, but I'm sure I would have 10 lives. Getting more lives will break the graphic-stuff. Couldn't get the controls to respond when playing from floppy (very weird, tried all kinds of settings), so went with the WHDLoad version. As with a lot of WHDLoad enabled games, cheats can be used, which I didn't of course. But after I've finished the game, I tried the bomb cheat, which gives me 26 total bombs (had 10 myself). According to the WHDLoad text "F2 : Toggle on/off max bombs/flames, speed walking/through the walls", 26 should be max allowed bombs. I thought if passing that number, the game might bug out or something. Anyway, I was curious so memory hacked and gave me infinite bombs, and it worked :P. I show that and other stuff in an "EXTRAS" video here: • Amiga Misc [016] Dyna Blaster (Extras... . I'm sure I could also increase the speed thingy too. Guess the items in the games are random. From start to finish I only got 10 bombs, and if I played through it again, maybe I would get more, and getting more than 26 won't let me place more than 26, maybe that's what the WHDLoad text meant. 00:00:21 - Intro 00:00:53 - Round 1 00:17:36 - Boss 00:18:14 - Round 2 00:13:53 - Boss 00:32:34 - Round 3 00:44:09 - Boss 00:45:00 - Round 4 00:56:40 - Boss 00:58:27 - Round 5 01:09:29 - Boss 01:10:34 - Round 6 01:25:40 - Boss 01:27:48 - Round 7 01:42:24 - Boss 01:44:00 - Round 8 01:58:05 - Boss 02:01:14 - Outro 02:02:09 - End credits (nice music) - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
