BIGGEST Kite Festival In The World | Uttarayan 2025

Welcome to Uttrayan! The BIGGEST Kite Festival in the World. We’re Jesal & Sonia and we are celebrating Uttarayan right here in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We experienced epic kite battles, traditional food, and the thrill of it, all while spending good quality time with family. We went to a street market special for kites, learned how the kites and strings are made, and gathered supplies we needed. Aside from the epic kite battles we enjoyed traditional foods and activities like sugarcane, papaya, toys, games, and fireworks. This is a celebration that brings together all of the family and friends for a really great time. Uttarayan, also known at Makar Sankranti, is something so special and should be witnessed here in India if you have a chance!
