This is an interesting flight to say the least. Lap 1 was exceptional in that it didn't have any major mistakes, which is like... what 80% of the retries consists of. Not just that, additionally I got the nearly impossible 360-section skip on top of it. Out of all the attempts I did, this was the second time ever where I managed to pull off that shortcut. Because of this, it resulted in beating my former best lap 1 by as much as 1"6. As I entered lap 2, the first thing that came to my mind was: "I'm gonna choke this away for sure, because this is too good to be true". Boost laps were mostly about trying to regain composure so that I didn't end up losing the whole pace to one crucial mistake that should never happen. A lot of shaking movement can be detected in the boost laps, and this obviously has to do with the rather high heart rate I had during the entirety of them. There are several "almost-failure" moments to be seen here, and I honestly think it's a miracle that I could keep it together and surpass my goal time of 2'42" by so much. Overall pretty happy with this, despite the 2nd lap being a little slow. Not sure if I'll ever have the desire to return here again, but if I do, it's going to be hell to compete with this opening lap. This took less of a grind than I thought it would, but it's difficult to say how much more I would have needed to play in order to see another flight with such fast pace.
