According to DIG of Munger Range, Rakesh Kumar, no armed Naxalite squad is currently active in any of the 23 districts once affected by Naxalism. District Magistrate Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar confirmed that Suresh Koda will receive benefits under the Central Government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy. His wife, Pramila Devi, expressed relief and happiness over his decision, marking a new beginning for their family. Notably, 23 districts of Bihar were affected by Naxal activities in 2012, with central Bihar being the worst hit since the 1970s.
