PAINTING WITH A TREE BRANCH?! | DIY Tree Painting On Canvas

In today's video I'm painting with a tree branch, basically smacking a canvas with a tree branch, in the hopes of creating a lovely DIY tree painting on canvas. And the initial step of smacking a canvas with a tree branch ended up a little on the rough side, the marks were supposed to resemble the actual tree branch, but instead looked like an abstract blob! However, once I'd taken the canvas into the studio and started adding several other layers of paint onto this tree painting, I feel like it started to come alive a little bit. Overall, I think it was a very unconventional and creative way to start making a painting, and I would happily smack a canvas with a tree branch and create another painting in the future!
