Hi, in this video you will learn how to create a jumpscare made of an animation and a sound. To start you will go to the blueprint class of your entity. You will add a collision box, for my part I chose the sphere. Put the collision in overlappawn to detect only the pawn, just to optimize the process a little. Then you will add a camera to the mesh as well as a hidden light attached to the camera. Configure everything to have the result you want. Now we move on to the code part, retrieve the begin overlap event from the collision box and check that the overlap actor is the player and call a new event that you will create for the jumpscare. This event will: deactivate the player's inputs, play a sound, apply the jumpscare view and then play the jumpscare animation.
